We officially closed the window for the inaugural Jest Apps Fund yesterday, and I am absolutely blown away by the response. We received over 180 submissions from developers around the world, and I’m feeling incredibly grateful for the the excitement about Jest and messaging apps.
First Impressions
While I’ve only had the chance to skim a handful of the applications so far, the quality is already exceeding my expectations. There are some truly outstanding and creative apps in the mix that have me really excited about the future of the platform.
What’s Next?
I value the effort you put into your work and want to make sure every project gets a fair look. I’ll be going through every single application personally and will circle back with everyone individually once I’ve had a chance to digest them all.
Missed the Deadline?
If you couldn’t make it in time for this round, don’t worry - this is just the beginning. We’re planning to run a new fund in a few months, likely in September, so there will be plenty more opportunities to collaborate.
